  • Assessments Jan 20 and Jan 26

    Posted January 2, 2019

ASSESSMENTS CANCELLED ON 1/19 AND RESCHEDULED TO 1/20.

We have added another assessment day to our schedule.  Players must attend at least one day.  Assessments will now be held on 1/20 and 1/26.  If rain prohibits assessments on Saturday, we will move them to Sunday.

To properly evaluate all players eligible for Caps, Minors and Majors Divisions, the following schedule has been created for each age group from 7-12 year olds.  Players will be evaluated and rated for fielding, throwing, hitting and running skills.  Players must attend.

Times are based on league age.

Majors Division: 11-12 year olds at 9am

Minors Division: 9-10 year olds at 10:30am

Caps Division: 7-8 year olds at 12:30pm

If you would like to request your child to play up or down a division, your child must attend both assessments for each division.  The assessment process will determine in which division your child ultimately plays.  For example, an 8 year old (Caps age) who wants to play in the Minors division must try-out for Caps with the 8 year olds and Minors with the 9 year olds.  This will allow full evaluation of your child's playing ability.  Please note, even if your player has the skill and evaluation to make a desired division, all players are subject to limited spaces available.

All Managers & Player Agents will rate each player utilizing a 1-5 scoring system.  The Managers scoring will be combined to create an average per player to formulate player rankings.  After evaluations are completed, a draft will take place.  There are no evaluation sessions for T-Ball or Rookie players.

Walk up registration will be available.
