Spring is our primary competitive season with more games, league standings, and community events:

- Weekly development-focused practices
- Opening Day Ceremony π

- Closing Day festivities
- Tournament opportunities for eligible divisions
First-time players are welcome.

Our league depends on community volunteers β coaches, umpires, team parents, and snack bar helpers.
- Volunteer 10 or more hours to remove the $60 non-volunteer fee during registration
- You can volunteer even if you donβt have a player in the league

- Mar 30 β Apr 3 β SDUSD Spring Break β No Games
- Apr 5 β Picture Day (CAPS, Rookies, and Tee Ball)
- May 10 β Last Games (Majors and Minors)
- May 17 β Closing Day Ceremonies π
- May 26 β Jun 12 β Tournament of Champions
- June β July β All-Stars
SDUSDβs last day is May 29, so Closing Day lands comfortably ahead of summer plans.
Games and Practices
- Games: Weeknights and Saturdays
- Home Fields: Cabrillo Heights Park (interleague games at nearby fields possible)
- Practices: One to two per week (coach scheduled)
Registration covers a Jersey, Hat, Socks, and Belt for each player.
- Families provide a glove and game-day baseball pants (color decided by team)
- Most players bring their own batting helmet and bat; league equipment is available if needed
- Cleats are strongly recommended for traction on dirt infields (plastic or rubber only)
